If you are looking to be part of a caring and fun group of people, TCWCO is the place for you! Be involved at whatever level works for you. Participate as a volunteer, member, committee member or even officer. Please note that there are a couple of positions that we would like to fill ASAP. These positions will not be without support. Rarely is a position "solo" work. You will have support!
The Traverse City West Choir Organization's (TCWCO) mission is to lend all possible support, including moral, volunteer and financial to programs and activities of the Traverse City West Choir programs (TCWCP). To cooperate with the Choral Departments and the School Administrations to stimulate and sustain an enthusiastic interest among parents, choir members, student body, instructors and the community. To provide volunteers, logistics, scholarships, promotions, educational, literary and charitable assistance, to participate in any activity designed or conducted to promote the TCWCP in order to enhance the cultural experience of the members of TCWCP and the community. To accept, hold and raise funds, donations, gifts, assets, bequests, grants and trusts for the use and benefit of the TCWCP and its members.
The Traverse City West Choir Organization is a volunteer group that supports the program which includes the directors and their students in a variety of ways. The TCWCO meets on the second Saturday of each month (during the school year) at 9AM. Currently this group meets in person at the West Senior High Choir room and also has the ability to meet virtually (via GoogleMeet). TCWCO is open to all parents/guardians of current and former students of TC West Middle and High Schools.
Below are the current Officers of the TCWCPO for the 2023-2024 school year.
Our committees are comprised of TCWCPO parents. Listed are the parents in these committees for 2021-2022.
